Assam Rural Infrastructure and Agricultural Services (ARIAS) Society.

The ARIAS Society invites applications for the following contractual positions under the World Bank financed Assam Agribusiness and Rural Transformation Project (APART). The selected candidates will be placed in the Operational Project Implementation Units (OPIUs) established in the Commissionerate /Directorates/HODs/HQ of Agencies associated with the project.

1. Dairy Value Chain Expert (DVCE) (1) Qualification : Must have a Bachelors degree/Masters degree/Post Graduate Diploma (of minimum two years duration) in Dairy Science/Dairy Technology/Food Technology/Veterinary Science/Animal Husbandry & Veterinary or a closely related field from any recognized University/Institution.

 Experience: At least two years of professional experience (in case of Master degree/Post Graduate Diploma holders) or four years of professional experience (in case of Bachelors degree holders) in dairy value chain related activities in any public/private sector organization. Rs. 6.00 Lakh to Rs.12.00 Lakh/Year

2. Piggery Value Chain Expert – Processing (PVCEProcessing) (1) Qualification: Must have a Bachelors degree/Masters Degree/Post Graduate Diploma (of minimum two years duration) in Veterinary Science/Animal Husbandry & Veterinary or a closely related field from any recognized University/Institution. Preference will be given to candidates having specialization in Meat Technology/Livestock Production Technology.

Experience: At least two years of professional experience (in case of Master degree/Post Graduate Diploma holders) or four years of professional experience (in case of Bachelor degree holders) in pork production/processing related activities in any public/private sector organization. Rs. 6.00 Lakh to Rs.12.00 Lakh/Year

 3. Piggery Value Chain Expert – Production (PVCEProduction) (1) Qualification: Must have a Bachelors degree/Masters Degree/Post Graduate Diploma (of minimum two years duration) in Veterinary Science/Animal Husbandry & Veterinary or a closely related field from any recognized University/Institution.

 Experience: At least two years of professional experience (in case of Master degree/Post Graduate Diploma holders) or four years of professional experience (in case of Bachelor degree holders) in piggery value chain related activities in any public/private sector organization. Rs. 6.00 Lakh to Rs.12.00 Lakh/Year

 4. Agri Business Experts (APEs) (2) Qualification: Must have a Bachelors degree in Agriculture/Horticulture followed by a Post-Graduate diploma/degree (of minimum two years duration) in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Agribusiness/ Economics or a closely related field from any recognized university/Institution.

Experience: At least two years of professional experience in Agri Business Management/Agricultural Marketing/Agri Value Chain Development/Agri enterprise development or similar activities in any public/private sector organization. Rs. 6.00 Lakh to Rs.12.00 Lakh/Year

5. Agriculture Extension Experts (AEEs) (2) Qualification: Must have a Bachelors degree in Agriculture/Horticulture followed by a Post-Graduate diploma/degree (of minimum two years duration) in Agriculture from any recognized university/Institution. Preference will be given to candidates holding Post-Graduate diploma/ degree (of minimum two years duration) in Agriculture Extension.

 Experience: At least two years of professional experience in Agriculture extension and related activities in any public/private sector organization. Rs. 6.00 Lakh to Rs.12.00 Lakh/Year

 6. Agriculture Marketing Experts (AMEs) (2) Qualification: Must have a Bachelors degree in Agriculture/Horticulture followed by a Post-Graduate diploma/ degree (of minimum two years duration) in Business Administration/Marketing/Agribusiness/ Economics/Agricultural Marketing & Cooperation or a closely related field from any recognized university/Institution.

Experience: At least two years of professional experience in Agri Business Management/Agricultural Marketing/Agri Value Chain Development or similar activities in any public/private sector organization. Rs. 6.00 Lakh to Rs.12.00 Lakh/Year

7. Knowledge Management and Documentation Experts (KMDEs) (2) Qualification: Must have a Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (of minimum two years duration) in Mass Communication/Corporate Communication/Media Studies/Journalism/Social Science/English or a closely related field from any recognized institute/University.

 Experience: At least two years of professional experience in designing outreach programs, promotional materials, marketing collaterals, press notes, media releases, content drafting/writing, blog writing, arranging press conference, developing corporate communication strategies, media liaison, publicity management, etc. Experience in working with local media is desirable. Rs. 6.00 Lakh to Rs.12.00 Lakh/Year

8. Post Harvest Management Experts (PHMEs) (2) Qualification: Must have a Masters degree/Post Graduate Diploma (of min 2 years duration) in Agriculture/Horticulture/Post Harvest Technology/Post Harvest Management or a closely related field from any Govt. recognized University/Institutions.

 Experience: At least two years of professional experience in Post Harvest Management of Agriculture/Horticulture commodities, including development of innovative Post Harvest Management practices for different commodities. Rs. 6.00 Lakh to Rs.12.00 Lakh/Year

 Age:  For all the positions the age limit is 50 years as on 1st January, 2019.
