Railway Recruitment Boards(RRBs) invite ONLINE applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) {JE(IT)}, Depot Material Superintendant (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA)in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways against CENTRALISED EMPLOYMENT NOTICE (CEN) No.03/2018.

Age as on 01.01.2019: 18 to 33 years. Relaxations in Upper Age limit is 5 Years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC-Non Creamy Layer candidates and 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)

Pay: Rs.35,400/- (Level 6 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix) plus Allowances as admissible. 

Educational Qualification: 
(a) Junior Engineer: Diploma/Degree in Engineering in relevant disciplines prescribed against various posts in Annexure-A of the detailed CEN to be published on the websites of RRBs. 
(b) Depot Material Superintendent: Diploma/Degree in Engineering from any discipline. 
(c) Junior Engineer (Information Technology): PGDCA/B.Sc., (Computer Science)/BCA/ B.Tech. (Information Technology)/B.Tech. (Computer Science)/DOEACC 'B' Level Course of 3 years duration or equivalent from recognised university/institute. 
(d) Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant: Bachelors Degree in Science with Physics and Chemistry with minimum of 45% marks.

CANDIDATES WAITING FOR RESULTS OF PRESCRIBED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION SHOULD NOT APPLY.

Stage of Examination: There shall be two stage computer based test (CBT) followed by document verification and medical examination. 

Medical Standards: Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the prescribed medical standards for the post(s) they are opting for. Refer to the medical standards for each post as available in the detailed CEN published in the websites of RRBs. Candidates found medically unsuitable for the opted post(s) shall not be given any alternative appointment. 

Examination Fee: 

1. For all candidates except the fee concession categories mentioned below at SI. No.2 Out of this fee of 500, an amount of 400 shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT.: Rs 500 
2. For Candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PwBDs / Women / Transgender / Minorities / Economic Backward Classes. This fee of 250 shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT. : Rs250
