Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, NVS invites online applications from Indian citizens for recruitment to the posts of Principal, Assistant Commissioner (Administration), PGTs, Assistant & Computer Operator for the year 2019.

1.Principal (Group-A)
No of posts: 25 (UR:12,OBC:7,SC:4,ST:2)

Pay: Level -12 (Rs.78800-209200) in the Pay Matrix
Age: Not exceeding 50 years.
Educational Qualification: Master Degree from recognized university with at-least 50% marks in aggregate. B. Ed or equivalent teaching degree.

2. Assistant Commissioner (Administration) (Group-A)
No of posts: 03 (UR:1,OBC:1,SC:1)

Pay: Level -11 (Rs.67700-208700) in the Pay Matrix
Age: 45 years.
Educational Qualification: Graduate Degree from a recognized University. Holding analogous post on regular basis OR With 8 years service in the Level 7 (Rs.44900-142400) in the Pay Matrix.

3. Assistant (Group-C)
No of posts: 02 (UR:2)

Pay: Level -6 (Rs.35400-112400) in the Pay Matrix
Age: Between 18 to 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized University. Knowledge of Computer Operation.

4. Computer Operator (Group-C)
No of posts: 03 (UR:2,OBC:1)

Pay: Level-4 (Rs.25500-81100) in the Pay Matrix
Age: Between 18 to 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized Institution/University. Skill in word-processing & data entry with a one year Computer Diploma from a recognized Institution.

5. Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) (Group-B)
No of posts: 218 (UR:106,OBC:57,SC:37,ST:18)

Subjects: Biology(16), Chemistry(25), Commerce(21), Economics(37),Geography(25)Hindi(11),History(21)Maths(17),Physics(34),IT(11)

Pay: Level-8 (Rs.47600-151100) in the Pay Matrix
Age: Not exceeding 40 years
Educational Qualification: Two Year Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. OR Master's Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the respective subjects as per the advertisement. Desirable: B. Ed Degree.

Application Fee: The candidates have to pay examination fee online through the prescribed link at online application. The post wise examination fee payable is as under: Principal-Rs.1500/-, Assistant Commissioner (Administration)- Rs. 1500/-, PGTs- Rs.1000/-, Assistant-Rs.800/-& Computer Operator-Rs.800/-.

No fee is required to be paid by candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories and Female candidates, hence, the steps for payment of fees will not be applicable to them in online application form. Once the fee is deposited the same shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
